Studio Policy

• A flat rate is charged on the 1st of every month. It is automatically deducted regardless of absences or makeup. Absences will be made up on a day in which the instructor and student will be free. If in the event the instructor or student does not have time for the makeup session, the next lesson will count as the makeup, and payment will be adjusted (so that the student does not pay extra for the lesson).

• If a student cancels within the 48-hour notice or is sick, they are allowed a 1-hour group makeup class on Saturday or on a day that one is made available. The makeup group class may be in the form of a group piano, guitar, or drum class depending on the instrument in which they play. 

• If a student is having difficulty arriving on time for the lesson, the instructor will try to accommodate timing as much as possible, but in the event, the lesson cannot be done, it will have to be made up on another day. 

• There is an average of 4 lessons per month. Our schedule will be based on the public school schedule in New York City. On days when public school does not meet, lessons will not be taught.

LESSON LOGISTICS

• Please arrive at the studio 5 mins before the lesson is scheduled to begin.

• Lessons must end on time, to make time for the following student, please do not be late for class.

• There is no food/drinks allowed in the studio. Bathroom, snack, water, etc should be taken care of outside the lesson time.

• Parents may observe their child’s lesson quietly without disturbing the class
