What Will I Learn?
Students enrolled in group lessons will learn the basic knowledge needed in playing their instrument including the following:
- Note Reading
- Technique and Theory Through Playing The Instrument
- Fun Ensemble Songs Played Together (Teacher + Students)
How Many Students Are In A Group?
In group instrument lessons, you will be scheduled with 3-5 students. All students in the group will be learning the same instrument. Currently, we are offering group lessons online!
What Kind of Songs Do We Play?
In our group lessons, we focus on ensemble play meaning that we are playing together for most of the class session. We go over different genres of music as we progress through the program. The following are some of the genres of music we learn in our group instrument lessons:
- Classical
- Jazz + Blues
- Rock and Roll
- Pop
Group Lesson Pricing

Group Lesson Payment
Group lesson payment is taken before every class. Students will receive an invoice for lessons before the first lesson. The invoice must be paid in full before the first lesson with the teacher. Students who are looking to take weekly group lessons have the option to pay a full months worth of lessons at the beginning of the month.
Scheduling Information
When signing up for group lessons, please choose appointments by the hour (ex. 3:00 or 4:00). Lessons that fall in-between the hour such as 3:30 or 4:30 will have to be rescheduled. Boom! Academy of Music will reach out to you to reschedule your lesson.
