| Hi, I’m Francesco, and I’m the managing director of Boom! Music Center.
As a professional musician with a bachelor’s degree in music education from the Brooklyn College-Conservatory of Music, I’ve dedicated the past 7 years to teaching private piano lessons, along with additional experience in group instruction. I’m also a music teacher in the New York City public school system, where I work with elementary school students from Pre-K through 5th grade (ages 4-10). In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to teach older students, including those in middle school and adult learners. Teaching music is one of my greatest passions, and I’m thrilled to share this love with my students. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, my lessons focus on building solid music fundamentals—learning to read music, playing with proper technique, understanding music theory, and exploring exciting new songs. I use the best method books available to guide our learning at a steady, consistent pace, and I adapt my approach to meet your individual skill level. I believe in challenging my students to progress without feeling rushed or held back, ensuring every lesson is enjoyable, clear, and productive. I’ve been playing piano for over 23 years, performing at various venues across the city, and continuously learning from talented teachers along the way. I specialize in Classical, Pop, and Rock music and have extensive experience in these genres. Beyond teaching, I am fully immersed in the music world, having worked in recording, composing, songwriting, and more. With commitment and practice, you’ll be playing your favorite songs in no time.
